Dabrafenib Plus Trametinib for BRAF V600E-Mutant Non-small Cell Lung Cancer: A Patient Case Report
We report the case of a 70-year-old Asian woman (never smoker) who was diagnosed with lung adenocarcinoma in May 2014. Testing at diagnosis was negative for programmed death ligand 1 orEGFR,ALK, andROS1 alterations. She was started on carboplatin-pemetrexed-bevacizumab and maintenance bevacizumab but progressed in September 2015. Subsequently, she progressed on second-line nivolumab and third-line docetaxel. Impact of current versus former smoking status on the outcomes of non-metastatic non-small cell lung cancer treated with upfront surgery; findings from the National Lung Screening Trial.

The Vertebral Body Infarct Sign: A Case of Thoracic Spinal Cord Ischemic Stroke (P3.292)

Impact of Lifestyle Diseases on Postoperative Complications and Survival in Elderly Patients with Stage I Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer.
CONCLUSION: This study demonstrated that the presence of a lifestyle disease was a significant prognostic factor for postoperative complications, but not of survival, in elderly patients with stage I NSCLC. Acute ischaemic stroke and myocardial infarction after chemotherapy with vinorelbine for non-small cell lung cancer: a case report.
We report about a 70-year-old male with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer who received vinorelbine as an outpatient. The patient presents with a cardiovascular risk profile. He was admitted to the hospital 3 days later with acute left-sided hemiplegia and hemianopia. Brain computed tomography (CT) demonstrated acute right hemispheric ischaemic stroke. Nine days after admission, the patient additionally suffered ST elevation myocardial infarction. Bm-19 * symptomatic and economic burden of brain metastases in patients with alk+ nsclc
CONCLUSIONS: BM presents a substantial symptomatic and economic burden in patients with ALK+ NSCLC. Given the large percentage of ALK+ NSCLC patients who will eventually develop BM, this highlights an important unmet need.

P-132 * bronchial sleeve resection or pneumonectomy for non-small-cell lung cancer: a propensity matched analysis of long-term survival and quality of life
Conclusions: During the 5-year follow-up, pneumonectomy and sleeve lobectomy showed no significant differences in cancer-specific survival or in quality of life. However, thereafter sleeve lobectomy patients showed better survival. This advocates the use of sleeve lobectomy in central non-small-cell lung cancer when feasible.
