Linc00324 promotes the progression of papillary thyroid cancer via regulating Notch signaling pathway.
CONCLUSIONS: The expression of linc00324 is significantly increased in PTC tissues and cells. Silencing linc00324 may inhibit the proliferation of PTC cells, arrest the cell cycle in G1/G0 phase, and promote the apoptosis by inhibiting the Notch signaling pathway. Values of long noncoding RNA SAMMSON in the clinicopathologic features and the prognostic implications of human gastric cancer.
CONCLUSIONS: LncRNA-SAMMSON played an important role in the development of GC, which might be regarded as a new target for the diagnosis and treatment of GC. PMID: 32572923 [PubMed - in process]

LncRNA UCA1 inhibits proliferation and promotes apoptosis of cervical cancer cells by regulating β-catenin/TCF-4.
CONCLUSIONS: LncRNA UCA1 inhibits proliferation and promotes the apoptosis of HeLa cells. Furthermore, its mechanism of action may be related to the inhibition on the β-catenin/TCF-4 signaling pathway. PMID: 32572909 [PubMed - in process]

MiR-340-5p mitigates the proliferation and activation of fibroblast in lung fibrosis by targeting TGF- β/p38/ATF1 signaling pathway.
CONCLUSIONS: The above proved that the increased miR-340-5p ameliorates the activation and proliferation of lung fibroblast in fibrosis process via targeting ATF1 and MAPK/p38 pathway. Our research provides novel insight on the miRNA modulation of process of TGF-β stimuli in lung fibroblast and verifies a potential target for the therapy of lung fibrosis in the future. Effects of homeodomain-interacting protein kinase 2 on renal tubular epithelial cells.
CONCLUSIONS: Inhibition of HIPK2 expression can promote H/R-induced proliferation of NRK-52E cells through the JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway, relieve the OS response, and reduce apoptosis. PMID: 32572889 [PubMed - in process]

The tissue transglutaminase: a potential target regulating MDR in breast cancer.
CONCLUSIONS: It is concluded that the tTG may be a potential target regulating the MDR by regulating LRP, P-gp and MRP expression as well as the expression of CD44CD24 to improve the MDR in breast cancer. PMID: 32572883 [PubMed - in process]

MiR-449b-5p inhibits human glioblastoma cell proliferation by inactivating WNT2B/Wnt/ β-catenin signaling pathway.
CONCLUSIONS: MiR-449b-5p acts as a tumor suppressor and retards the oncogenesis of glioblastoma, which is achieved via inactivation of Wnt/β-catenin signaling by directly targeting WNT2B. PMID: 32495889 [PubMed - in process]
