Integrating machine learning and single-cell trajectories to analyze T-cell exhaustion to predict prognosis and immunotherapy in colon cancer patients
ConclusionIn this study, we systematically explored the T-cell exhaustion trajectory in COAD and developed a TES model to assess prognosis and provide guidelines for the treatment decision. This discovery gave rise to a fresh concept for novel therapeutic procedures for the clinical treatment of COAD.

CTLA-4 silencing in dendritic cells loaded with colorectal cancer cell lysate improves autologous T cell responses in vitro
In this study, we loaded colorectal cancer (CRC) cell lysate on DCs and inhibited the expression of CTLA-4 by small interfering RNA (siRNA) in them to investigate the DCs’ functional and phenotypical features, and T-cell mediated responses following DC/T cell co-culture. Our results demonstrated that blockade of CTLA-4 could promote stimulatory properties of DCs. Simultaneous blockade of TIGIT and HIF-1 α induces synergistic anti-tumor effect and decreases the growth and development of cancer cells

Epithelial-specific ETS-1 (ESE1/ELF3) regulates apoptosis of intestinal epithelial cells in ulcerative colitis via accelerating NF-κB activation
