Down-Regulation of HBXIP Inhibits Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Growth and Enhances the Anti-Tumor Immunity of Mice by Reducing NRP-1
CONCLUSION: Down-regulation of HBXIP reduced Lin28B-mediated NRP-1 to suppress NSCLC cell growth and enhance anti-tumor immunity.PMID:34452886

Circular RNA circRHOT1 contributes to pathogenesis of non-small cell lung cancer by epigenetically enhancing C-MYC expression through recruiting KAT5
In this study, we identities the epigenetic regulation function of circular RNA circRHOT1 in promoting NSCLC cell proliferation. We found that circRHOT1 were elevated in the clinical tumor tissues relative to that in the peritumor tissues from NSCLC patients. circRHOT1 was up-regulated in human lung cancer cell lines compared with normal human lung epithelial cell line. MTT assays revealed that the silencing of circRHOT1 by siRNA suppressed cell viabilities of NSCLC cells. Colony formation and Edu assays confirmed that circRHOT1 knockdown attenuated NSCLC cell proliferation in vitro. Meanwhile, the depletion of circRHOT1 i...

Diallyl Disulfide Attenuates Ionizing Radiation-Induced Migration and Invasion by Suppressing Nrf2 Signaling in Non-small-Cell Lung Cancer
Dose Response. 2021 Aug 2;19(3):15593258211033114. doi: 10.1177/15593258211033114. eCollection 2021 Jul-Sep.ABSTRACTNon-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is the leading cause of cancer-associated deaths. Radiotherapy remains the primary treatment method for NSCLC. Despite great advances in radiotherapy techniques and modalities, recurrence and resistance still limit therapeutic success, even low-dose ionizing radiation (IR) can induce the migration and invasion. Diallyl disulfide (DADS), a bioactive component extracted from garlic, exhibits a wide spectrum of biological activities including antitumor effects. However, the eff...

KRAS inhibitor-resistance in < em > MET < /em > -amplified < em > KRAS < /em > < sup > G12C < /sup > non-small cell lung cancer induced by RAS- and non-RAS-mediated cell signaling mechanisms
CONCLUSIONS: MET amplification leads to the development of resistance to KRAS G12C inhibitors in NSCLC. Dual blockade of MET and KRAS G12C could be a treatment option for MET amplified, KRAS G12C-mutated NSCLC.PMID:34365406 | DOI:10.1158/1078-0432.CCR-21-0856
