HDAC11 is related to breast cancer prognosis and inhibits invasion and proliferation of breast cancer cells
CONCLUSION: In conclusion, this study found that HDAC11 expression is positively correlated with the overall survival rate of patients. HDAC11 can inhibit the invasion and proliferation of breast cancer cells to a certain extent and can be used as a good prognosis marker.PMID:37559686 | PMC:PMC10408431

The prognostic value of DAAM2 in lower grade glioma, liver cancer, and breast cancer
CONCLUSION: DAAM2 had a specific value in foretelling the prognosis of LGG, LIHC, and BRCA. High expression level of DAAM2 has longer survival rates in LGG and LIHC. The knockdown of DAAM2 retards the proliferation, invasion, and migration of BRCA cells. This study provides a novel sight of DAAM2 into the exploration of a potential biomarker in pan-cancer.PMID:36790676 | DOI:10.1007/s12094-023-03111-x

Cyclin ‐dependent kinase subunit2 (CKS2) promotes malignant phenotypes and epithelial‐mesenchymal transition‐like process in glioma by activating TGFβ/SMAD signaling
ConclusionsWe identified CKS2 as a critical contributor to the gliomagenesis, which might provide a novel therapeutic target for inhibiting the spread and infiltration of glioma.

Role of the prorenin receptor in endometrial cancer cell growth
Oncotarget. 2022 Apr 1;13:587-599. doi: 10.18632/oncotarget.28224. eCollection 2022.ABSTRACTEndometrial cancer is the most diagnosed gynecological malignancy. Despite numerous scientific advances, the incidence and mortality rate of endometrial cancer continues to rise. Emerging evidence suggests a putative role of the (pro)renin receptor ((P)RR), in the ontogenesis of endometrial cancer. The (P)RR is implicated in breast cancer and pancreatic carcinoma pathophysiology by virtue of its role in proliferation, angiogenesis, fibrosis, migration and invasion. Thus, we aimed to investigate the functional role of the (P)RR in hu...

LncRNA KRT19P3 Is Involved in Breast Cancer Cell Proliferation, Migration and Invasion
In conclusion, this study demonstrated that lncRNA KRT19P3 inhibits BC progression, and may affect the expression of PD-L1 in BC, which in turn affects CD8+ T (CD8 positive Cytotoxic T lymphocyte) cells in the immune microenvironment.

A Novel Role for Brain and Acute Leukemia Cytoplasmic (BAALC) in Human Breast Cancer Metastasis
This study investigates BAALC expression in human breast cancers with the aim of determining if it plays a role in the pathogenesis of the disease. BAALC protein expression was examined by immunohistochemistry in breast cancer, and matched lymph node and normal breast tissue samples. The effect of gene expression on overall survival (OS), disease-free and distant metastasis free survival (DMFS) was assessed in silico using the Kaplan-Meier Plotter (n=3,935), the TCGA invasive breast carcinoma (n=960) and GOBO (n=821) data sets. Functional effects of BAALC expression on breast cancer proliferation, migration and invasion we...
