Achievements in postgraduate urologic education in iran: a quantitative study.
Conclusion: The current urology training is successful to improve urology health care. Along with expansion of urology and fellowship training, the number of Iranian female urologists significantly increased. Comparison of silodosin to tamsulosin for medical expulsive treatment of ureteral stones: a systematic review and meta-analysis
This study aimed at comparing the success rates of silodosin to the most commonly used for medical expulsive therapy (MET) tamsulosin for the management of ureteral stones. A systematic review using the search string: “silodosin AND (ston* OR calcu* OR expul*)” was conducted on Pubmed, SCOPUS, Web of Science, Cochrane Central Register. Robotic stone surgery – Current state and future prospects: A systematic review
Conclusions The benefits of robotic devices in stone surgery in existing endourological, laparoscopic, and open treatment strategies still need elucidation. Although recent data are promising, more prospective randomised controlled studies are necessary to clarify the impact of this technique on patient safety and stone-free rates.
