Conclusions and recommendations from these discussions that are particularly pertinent to nurses are presented in this paper. V. and the Sächsischen Gesellschaft für Urologie e. V., which took place in Marburg from May 22nd - 24th , 2014. A Qualitative Study on Decision ‐Making by Prostate Cancer Physicians during Active Surveillance
ConclusionThese qualitative data reveal which factors influence physicians that manage patients on AS. There is tension between providing standardized care while also considering individual patients’ needs and health status. Additional education on active surveillance is needed during urology training and continuing medical education. Future research is needed to empirically understand whether any specific protocol is superior to tailored, individualized care. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved.

The Sustainable Kidney Care Foundation's contribution to the improvement of AKI management in developing countries using peritoneal dialysis.
Abstract Professional organizations, such as kidney foundations, have been active for over half a century in the field of nephrology, serving as the basic institutions for advocacy, disease education, prevention, and treatment. Diagnosis of overactive bladder (OAB).
Abstract Overactive bladder (OAB) is a symptom complex which is present in approximately 17% of the European population. It is observed in the presence or absence of incontinence (wet or dry) and is associated with a high degree of psychological stress as well as high costs for the healthcare system. Myogenic, urothelial and neurogenic factors lead to frequently unknown changes of muscular, neural and connective tissue. The diagnosis of OAB is empirical and can be used as a basis for initial treatment, while lower urinary tract symptoms have to be evaluated up front. As there are no established biomarkers for OAB,...
