Investigation of tumor assessment between two PET systems using various indices: comparison between PET/CT and PET/MRI systems
This study aimed to determine the comparability of tumor-uptake indices of 18F-FDG in positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) and positron emission tomography/magnetic resonance imaging (PET/MRI). 2-[fluorine-18]-fluoro-2-deoxy-D-glucose (FDG) PET/CT and PET/MRI were performed on 55 patients with confirmed primary malignancies. Novel technique of detecting inflammatory and osseous changes in the glenohumeral joint associated with patient age and weight using FDG- and NaF-PET imaging
CONCLUSION: Our study demonstrates the varying effect of limb laterality and BMI on FDG and NaF uptake at the GH joint. Attention-gated U-Net networks for simultaneous axial/sagittal planes segmentation of injured spinal cords
This study proposes a new CNN-based segmentation method in which information is exchanged between two networks analyzing the scans from different planes. Our aim was to develop a robust method for automatic segmentation of the spinal cord in patients having suffered traumatic injuries. The database consisted of 106 sagittal MRI scans from 94 patients with traumatic spinal cord injuries. Patients with fibromyalgia in Finnish healthcare center - one-year follow up
CONCLUSION: With these results, we cannot conclude that ÖMPSQ predicts the patient's severity of symptoms. On the contrary, we can conclude that antidepressants and/or psychological therapy might reduce fibromyalgia symptoms for depressed patients with fibromyalgia. The impact of intensified staging and combined therapies in locally advanced pancreatic cancer: a secondary analysis of prospective studies
