Teaching Clinical Reasoning in the Preclinical Period
CONCLUSION: Our Introduction to Clinical Reasoning course offers students repeated exposure to well-selected cases to promote their development of clinical reasoning. The course is an example of how clinical reasoning can be taught across the preclinical curriculum without extensive faculty training in medical education or clinical reasoning theory. Rapid increases in BMI waist to height ratio during adolescence and subsequent neurobehavioral deficits

Geographic Disparity in Distance to Trauma Care in Secondary Schools across the United States
CONCLUSION: This study highlights geographic disparity in distance to trauma care for SSs in the United States. SSs located > 60 miles from trauma centers were at reduced odds of access to AT services. A New Direction for Radiology Residency Curricula: Blending the Training Paradigm
Medical education has been shifting with the advances in technology in recent years. While these technologies have completely changed the practice of radiology, the educational system in radiology residencies must similarly adapt. A blended curriculum combines technologically mediated learning in conjunction with live classroom education. Blended teaching has been trialed in medical schools and residencies across the country with excellent results. The COVID-19 pandemic forced the start of a shift within radiology residencies to explore methods of blended resident education.

Effects of the Education and Training Programme for Excellent Physicians in China on medical students academic performance: a cross-sectional study
Conclusion
These results suggest that the reform had a significant positive impact on medical students’ academic performance. Based on the components of this reform and the potential mechanism analysis of the two facets, this study indicates that curriculum reform in integrated learning and teaching methods reform in the adoption of problem-based learning may have been the possible drivers of this positive impact.

Government must come clean over scale of crumbly concrete in schools
Responding to the announcement today (Tuesday) that the number of confirmed cases of reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC) in schools in England has increased to 174, UNISON head of education Mike Short said:
“Many involved in education suspect ministers still aren’t revealing the true scale of this growing problem.
“At-risk schools remain in the dark as they wait for inspections. This is simply not good enough.
“Ministers must come clean, be honest with parents and staff, and give schools clear guidance about what they should do, not leave them stuck in limbo.”

Discretionary foods and drinks in Norwegian children and adolescents' diet: Data from the national dietary survey Ungkost 3
CONCLUSIONS: Almost all 4th and 8th graders in Norway consumed discretionary foods and drinks and these products contributed to a substantial proportion of the total energy intake and limited amounts of nutrients.
