Phosphorylation of Dab2 is involved in inhibited VEGF-VEGFR-2 signaling induced by downregulation of Syndecan-1 in glomerular endothelial cell.

Behavioural and cognitive-behavioural interventions for outwardly directed aggressive behaviour in people with intellectual disabilities
CONCLUSIONS: There is moderate-certainty evidence that cognitive-behavioural approaches such as anger management and PBS may reduce outwardly directed aggressive behaviour in the short term but there is less certainty about the evidence in the medium and long term, particularly in relation to other outcomes such as quality of life. The current meta-analytic review examined the effectiveness of job search interventions in facilitating job search success (i.e., obtaining employment). Major theoretical perspectives on job search interventions, including behavioral learning theory, theory of planned behavior, social cognitive theory, and coping theory, were reviewed and integrated to derive a taxonomy of critical job search intervention components. Phase 2 open-label extension study of patisiran, an investigational siRNA agent for hereditary ATTR amyloidosis with polyneuropathy (hATTR-PN)
Hereditary ATTR amyloidosis with polyneuropathy (hATTR-PN), also known as familial amyloidotic polyneuropathy (FAP), is an inherited, progressive disease that can cause sensory, motor, and autonomic dysfunction, resulting in significant disability and death. Patisiran is an investigational, systemically administered small interfering RNA (siRNA) targeting wild-type and mutant TTR. A recently completed multi-center, multi-dose Phase 2 trial of patisiran in hATTR-PN patients (N  = 29) showed>80% sustained mean knockdown of serum TTR when administered at a dose of 0.3  mg/kg every 3 weeks with a generally favorable safety profile.
