Very late complications of oncotherapy in glioblastoma patients: A case series.

Lacunar stroke as a very late complication of radiotherapy: value of nuclear medicine techniques.
CONCLUSIONS: The reappearance of neurological symptoms years after radiotherapy of a brain neoplasm poses a diagnostic dilemma. Current diagnostic techniques are very accurate but present false positives. The various nuclear medicine techniques, in particular PET-CT 11C-methionine, are a diagnostic aid. With the presentation of this case we intend to draw attention to one of the late complications of radiation therapy and the various differential diagnoses. CONCLUSION Bolus human albumin 5% was not superior to bolus ringer acetate in maintaining systemic or mesenteric oxygen delivery in elective major upper gastrointestinal cancer surgery, despite the administration of larger volumes of trial fluid in the ringer acetate group. STIR-Net: Deep Spatial-Temporal Image Restoration Net for Radiation Reduction in CT Perfusion
In this study, we finalize extensive experiments to appraise the image restoration performance at different levels of tube current and spatial and temporal resolution scales. The results demonstrate the capability of our STIR-Net to restore high-quality scans at as low as 11% of absorbed radiation dose of the current imaging protocol, yielding an average of 10% improvement for perfusion maps compared to the patch-based log likelihood method.
