The relationship between received and perceived social support with ways of coping in nurses
CONCLUSION: This study showed that received and perceived social support have a significant correlation with ways of coping, but only able to explain the changes in social support seeking dimensions, positive reappraisal, accepting responsibility. Both types of social support are necessary, but that received social support covered more adaptive coping strategies.PMID:38669503 | DOI:10.3233/WOR-230337 (Source: Work)

De Quervain's tenosynovitis as an occupational disease in agricultural worker: A case report
CONCLUSIONS: Report shows that work-related factors were strongly associated with diagnosed de Quervain's tenosynovitis. Hand function plays an essential role in carrying out activities of daily living and this disorder pose a relevant burden of disease. Exposure to biomechanical factors should be an important initial target for the prevention of De Quervain's tenosynovitis in the working population.PMID:38669502 | DOI:10.3233/WOR-230135 (Source: Work)

Segmental differences in daytime changes of leg volume
CONCLUSIONS: Surprisingly, the increase of ULv was greater than that of LLv. An evening increase in the leg volume also occurred in legs with no clear OE. In our series, a clinically evident OE was related to an increase of the WLv, LLv, and ULv greater than 5.83%, 8.68%, and 1.88%, respectively.PMID:38665001 | DOI:10.1177/02683555241248927 (Source: Phlebology)
