Nursing or PA after Med School withdrawal
What are the chances of being accepted to PA or Nursing after failing 1 course as M1 and withdrawing from med school? When applying to these programs, should applicants mention med school attendance/withdrawals or just submit undergrad transcript/GRE? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Provisional Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS)
I graduated 1 ½ year ahead of schedule and I'm currently working on my MS in Clinical Psychology. I started in the Spring of 2022 and will graduate in the Summer of 2023. The director of the school clinic is a CBIS. In the Practicum/Clinic course we spend time at the nursing home assessing and speaking with residents some of which have had strokes or even have Aphasia. We give diagnosis under the director's supervision. Would the provisional CBIS look good for medical school apps?

Does taking courses at CC after transferring look bad for grad admission?
Hi everyone!
I'm currently applying for nursing schools right now. I wasn't able to find a nursing forum as in-depth as SDN, so I decided to post here and maybe y'all can give me advice.

Nursing home moonlighting
Hey guys,
I'm currently a PGY3 resident in pm&r. I was looking to moonlight at a nursing home. I do have my medical lisence. They are offering 40 per note & will cover malpractice. Any thoughts? I'm not sure what's a normal value.

Is this a good plan as a non-trad?
23, female, working full-time in a field that's not related to any clinical settings.
I posted my sob story about not being good at science in undergrad and giving up on my "dreams" of being a doctor. I took some time to read the replies and think about it some more.
I've decided that while I'm still very undecided about going into medicine or NP school, that I should at least do something about my situation and see if it's even viable to go to medical or nursing school at this...

What made you all decide on medicine as non-trads?
I'm 23 and graduated from college with a BA in economics in December 2021. I took some premed prereqs, but definitely not all of them.
