Retrospective Analysis of 12 Months Glaucoma Implant Efficacy: XEN45 and PreserFlo Microshunt
CONCLUSION: Both methods demonstrate satisfactory IOP control within a 12-month postoperative period with practically no serious adverse events/complications, but with relatively high numbers of subsequent interventions (needlings), particularly in the XEN45 group.PMID:35472784 | DOI:10.1055/a-1766-6444 (Source: Klinische Monatsblatter fur Augenheilkunde)

Changes in glaucoma management following visual field testing and optical coherence tomography
CONCLUSION: Glaucoma therapeutic changes occurred following approximately 5% of outpatient encounters. Surgery and LT were more likely to occur following a visit with a HVF rather than an OCT, while either investigation was associated with a higher odds of medication change.PMID:35450937 | DOI:10.1136/bjophthalmol-2021-321010 (Source: The British Journal of Ophthalmology)

Comparison of netarsudil and latanoprostene bunod as adjuncts to maximum medical therapy in primary open-angle glaucoma: a single-centre retrospective cohort study
CONCLUSIONS: In patients with POAG on MMT, addition of NET was associated with significantly greater magnitude of IOPR and a significantly greater proportion of patients reaching the >10% IOPR threshold compared with exchange of PGA for LB.PMID:35421360 | DOI:10.1016/j.jcjo.2022.03.004 (Source: Canadian Journal of Ophthalmology)
