Is It Possible to Perform Fifth Carpometacarpal Joint Arthroscopy? Cadaveric Study on Its Feasibility, Safety, and Potential Hazards in Portal Creation

Radiographic Landmarks for Ideal Port Placement in Wrist Arthroscopy

Reconstruction of the Distal Oblique Bundle for DRUJ Instability
We describe our surgical technique for reconstruction of the distal oblique bundle (DOB), to attain DRUJ stability in a young man, after failed attempts of direct TFCC reinsertion and radioulnar ligament reconstruction with the Adams procedure.

Recurrence of Scaphoid Stress Fracture: A Case Report
We present the case of a 20-year-old male gymnast with bilateral stress fractures of the scaphoid waist. Following conservative treatment, clinical and radiological signs of union were seen bilaterally. Eight months after return to normal activities, a unilateral recurrence of the stress fracture occurred. This was successfully treated with internal fixation and bone grafting.

Volar Lunate Facet Rim Fractures: K-I Classification and Technique
Conclusion VLF rim fragments are not amenable to standard VLP fixation. Unstable fixation may result in postoperative correction loss, aseptic necrosis, malunion, radiocarpal subluxation, and wrist dysfunction. Normal Values of Distal Radioulnar Joint Kinematics during a Dynamic Press Test
Conclusions This clinical study demonstrates the normal values of DRUJ kinematics and reports excellent agreement and high precision of the press tests examination using an automated noninvasive dynamic RSA imaging method based on patient-specific CT bone models. A “Congenitally Adapted” TFCC Tear in Radial Longitudinal Deficiency: Case Report and Review of Literature
We present a case of chronic wrist pain in a 14-year-old child with mild radial longitudinal deficiency and radiographic carpal collapse due to the absence of the scaphoid. Wrist arthroscopy demonstrated synovitis and a tear to the TFCC, which would be called “degenerative,” according to the Palmer classification. This was debrided, and the patient is still asymptomatic at long-term follow-up. Review of the literature found one paper with a similar observation in a 17-year-old adolescent. Radiographic Outcomes following K-Wire Augmentation of Dorsal Spanning Plate Fixation for Intra-Articular Fractures of the Distal Radius
