Translation and psychometric properties of the Arabic version of the revised Patients' Attitudes Towards Deprescribing questionnaire
ConclusionsThis study provided an Arabic translation of the rPATD with evidence of validity and reliability comparable to the original tool. The Arabic rPATD could be used for adult patients in Arabic ‐speaking countries to ultimately contribute to the global literature of deprescribing. Overall, the patients in this study showed a favourable attitude towards deprescribing through a shared decision‐making process with their physicians. Knowledge and views of parents regarding ethical aspects of medical research among their children in Jordan
ConclusionsThese findings highlighted that parental educational level and high monthly income were predictors of good ethical research knowledge, which was opposed by parental comorbidity. Further investigations of other perspectives influencing the decision ‐making process of children participation in research, including children and paediatricians, are highly recommended. Antibiotic self ‐medication among non‐medical practitioners in Cirebon city, Indonesia
ConclusionsPenicillins were the most purchased class of antibiotics in self ‐medication, and amoxicillin is the generic name of penicillin that was most widely used in self‐medication among non‐medical practitioners in Cirebon City, Indonesia. Parental self ‐medication of antibiotics for children in Jordan
ConclusionThe findings of this study show that there is a high prevalence of parental self ‐medication practice of antibiotics in Jordan that should be considered as alarming problem.
