A pilot study to investigate the clinically predictive values of copy number variations detected by next generation sequencing of cell free DNA in spent culture media.
Analysis of cell free DNA in spent culture media has been identified as a non-invasive alternative to trophectoderm biopsy for PGT-A. However, the clinical value has not been well studied. We performed a pilot study with the primary interest of estimating the positive predictive value of copy number variations to predict nonviable or aneuploid embryos and investigate the false positive risk. Can we predict menopause and premature ovarian insufficiency?
The prediction of menopause and premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) involves understanding the factors that contribute to the timing of these events. Menopause is a natural biological process marked by the cessation of menstrual periods, typically occurring around the age of 51. On the other hand, premature ovarian insufficiency refers to the loss of ovarian function before the age of 40. Several factors have been used to predict menopause and POI such as Age, anti-M üllerian hormone (AMH), inhibins and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) serum levels, antral follicle counts (AFC), menstrual cycle length and recently som...

Improved fertilization, degeneration, and embryo quality rates with PIEZO-assisted intracytoplasmic sperm injection compared with conventional intracytoplasmic sperm injection —a sibling oocyte split multicenter trial
While screening recently accepted articles in Fertility and Sterility, we came across the research of Zander-Fox et  al. (1). In this randomized prospective multicenter trial, the Australian colleagues demonstrated that PIEZO-assisted intracytoplasmic sperm injection (PIEZO-ICSI) results in higher rates of fertilization and good quality blastocysts, compared with regular ICSI. It is also associated with a decrea sed rate of oocyte degeneration. These findings and the reported promising genetic and neonatal data would make PIEZO-ICSI a potential alternative to conventional ICSI. (Source: Fertility and Sterility)

Penile vibratory stimulation in men with spinal cord injury: an educational video demonstration
To demonstrate the different techniques used to perform successful penile vibratory stimulation (PVS) to induce ejaculation in men with spinal cord injuries (SCIs). (Source: Fertility and Sterility)

Educational aid for penile vibratory stimulation
The video presentation of Ibrahim (1) provides a functional, highly beneficial opportunity for both providers and patients to learn about the important but technically challenging technique of penile vibratory stimulation. The management of men with anejaculation, especially those with spinal cord injury as a cause for this disorder, is only routinely practiced at a limited number of centers with rehabilitation and reproductive medicine expertise. The condition can be managed with electroejaculation as well as vibratory stimulation, both of which have important technical components that should be mastered before the practi...

Prediction of pregnancy-related complications in women undergoing assisted reproduction, using machine learning methods
Capsule: The research group aimed to predict serious pregnancy complications in women that conceived with ART. Available demographic information, medical records, and ART treatment data alone proved inadequate for confidently predicting these conditions. (Source: Fertility and Sterility)

Comparative analysis of pregnancy outcomes in preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy and conventional in  vitro fertilization and embryo transfer: a stratified examination on the basis of the quantity of oocytes and blastocysts from a multicenter randomized controlled trial
To investigate variations in pregnancy outcomes between preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A) and conventional in  vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF-ET) treatment across distinct groups categorized by oocyte and blastocyst counts. Because the live birth rate (LBR) of assisted reproductive technology treatment is influenced by the number of oocytes and blastocysts retrieved. Our previous study indica ted comparable cumulative LBRs (CLBRs) between conventional IVF-ET and PGT-A. (Source: Fertility and Sterility)
