Planned oocyte cryopreservation to preserve future reproductive potential: an Ethics Committee opinion
Planned oocyte cryopreservation is an ethically permissible procedure that may help individuals avoid future infertility. Because planned oocyte cryopreservation is new and evolving, it is essential that those considering using it be informed about the uncertainties regarding its efficacy and long-term effects. This replaces the document of the same name, last published in  2017. (Source: Fertility and Sterility)

Evaluating prognosis in unexplained infertility
Capsule: The conundrum of unexplained infertility indicates that conception does not occur despite normal findings of the fertility work-up. Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome should be dead, we are just waiting on the obituary
In a not-so-distant past, ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) was the most dreadful and frequent complication of assisted reproductive technology (ART). Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome consisted of a massive modification of vascular permeability resulting in extravasation of fluid in the so-called third space with the following two primary consequences: accumulation of fluid in the pelvic cavity and ascites formation, and hemoconcentration and reduction of the vascular volume leading to possible anuria as a result of prerenal failure and increased pressure in renal veins due ascites tension. Prophecy, prediction, and prognosis  – can we improve the advice we give on the chance of pregnancy and treatment options for infertility?
Diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment are three vital components of medical care, established as a principle in ancient Hippocratic medicine. When diagnostic tools and knowledge were limited and treatment options were absent, physicians spent a lot of time on prognosis using their experience, clinical history, and observations to aid the patient in assessing their future health prospects (1). When the causes of disease became more apparent and new methods of treatment emerged, prognosis received much less attention. (Source: Fertility and Sterility)
