Endometriosis risk and hormonal contraceptive usage: A nationwide cohort study
CONCLUSIONS: The use of HCs at an early age and a failure to find a suitable HC were identified as warning signs of later receiving an endometriosis diagnosis. A longer duration of HC usage reduced the risk of receiving the diagnosis.PMID:38511416 | DOI:10.1111/1471-0528.17812 (Source: BJOG : An International Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology)

Clinical utility of point-of-care glucose testing in the assessment of gestational diabetes: Prospective cohort study
CONCLUSIONS: In our cohort the POC measurement of CBG cannot entirely replace the laboratory method for the OGTT; however, it can be used to rule out/rule in GDM for glucose concentrations of ≤5.0 mmol/L at fasting or <7.5/>9.5 mmol/L at 2 h.PMID:38497098 | DOI:10.1111/1471-0528.17811 (Source: BJOG : An International Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology)

Doppler ultrasound of umbilical and middle cerebral artery in third trimester small-for-gestational age fetuses to decide on timing of delivery for suspected fetal growth restriction: A cohort with nested RCT (DRIGITAT)
CONCLUSIONS: Perinatal risk was effectively identified by low EFW MoM and UCR. Early delivery of SGA fetuses with an abnormal UCR at 34-36 weeks should only be performed in the context of clinical trials.PMID:38498267 | DOI:10.1111/1471-0528.17770 (Source: BJOG : An International Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology)

Adverse pregnancy outcomes in pregnant women with chronic kidney disease: A systematic review and meta-analysis
CONCLUSIONS: There is heterogeneity in the definition of CKD in pregnancy. Future studies should consider ways to standardise its definition and measurement in pregnancy.PMID:38488268 | DOI:10.1111/1471-0528.17807 (Source: BJOG : An International Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology)
