Stillbirth has been relatively hidden during the COVID-19 pandemic, but a clear link between SARS-CoV-2 and poor fetal outcome emerged in the Alpha and Delta waves. Prediction of spontaneous preterm birth using supervised machine learning on metabolomic data: A case-cohort study
CONCLUSIONS: We identified and internally validated maternal serum metabolites predictive of sPTB. A lysolipid, 1-palmitoleoyl-GPE (16:1)*, is a novel predictor of sPTB and sETB.
