Applied Physiologically Based Pharmacokinetic Modeling to assess UGT ‐mediated Drug–Drug Interactions for Vericiguat
This study is a first cornerstone to qualify the PK-Sim® pla tform for use of UGT-mediated DDI predictions including PBPK models of perpetrators such as mefenamic acid and atazanavir, and sensitive UGT substrates such as dapagliflozin and raltegravir. Effect of Integrase Strand Transfer Inhibitor Use on Time to HIV Viral Suppression before Delivery
CONCLUSIONS: Despite recommendations to prescribe INSTI in pregnancy for rapid viral suppression, we did not find a significant difference in time to viral suppression when pregnant individuals were taking non-INSTI ARVs. We did not find that one INSTI ARV was superior for viral suppression.PMID:37657778 | DOI:10.14423/SMJ.0000000000001602 (Source: Southern Medical Journal)
