Obesity for challenge essay?
I know mental health history is big no-no for challenge questions, but I haven't seen anything regarding obesity? I was obese for a large part of my life until a family member passed and it changed my concept of health entirely. I got myself into shape, taught fitness classes, made health my major and it was a large part of my decision to become a physician. Would this be looked down upon? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Failed Induction of Labor
So I am constantly amazed at the OBs where I practice. They clearly have no understanding of what we do, but the fact they know so little or care so little about their patients really bothers me. We have several OBs who bring patients in for "induction" with little to no chance of achieving a vaginal delivery. We are talking morbidly obese, short women who are 38 weeks with a long closed cervix. They start them on pit, get an epidural and if they don't progress fast enough it's... personal statement
I have run out of people to edit/ review my personal statement. any suggestions for resources to review it? Also, Im worried the subject matter may be too grave for the context of a personal statement. I talk about my experiences growing up in the ballet world and how the presence of eating disorders and unhealthy habits inspired me to pursue a career in medicine. too much?
