Is there any IMG friendly EM/IM Programmes?
I am an IMG, old grad, like 6 years ago, I was checking KINGS COUNTY SUNY DOWNSTATE website and found out they have never had an IMG, not even in the past 8 years, is the programme malignant? If yes, where should I look for IM/EM combined residency? Thanks 😊 (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Medical Student Survey Study for Psychiatrists and Psychiatry Residents
Hello everyone! I am a medical student working on a project to understand the role and experiences of psychiatrists with head and neck cancer patients. To do this, we have a survey about experiences (or lack of experience) with head and neck cancer patients. If you work in psychiatry, I would greatly appreciate your help with this 5-10 minute survey. Thank you for your help! USC Psychiatrist Experiences with HNC Survey I've attached our IRB approval per SDN's policy on posting... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Would you go into hem onc if you were a med student?
We hear a lot about the doom and gloom for rad onc as a field, but as a med student, I hear very little about hem onc and its future. Overall, it seems like a solid field with a decent lifestyle, great compensation, and large future growth. Was just wondering what everyone on here thought? Thanks (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Cut RO payments every year? SURE! Cut drug payments? HOLD ON PARTNER!!!
I'm surprised that this hasn't been discussed yet. Merck sues US govt to prevent price negotiation The money quote: "Merck & Co (MRK.N) sued the U.S. government on Tuesday, seeking to halt the Medicare drug price negotiation program contained in the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), which it argues violates the Fifth and First Amendments to the U.S. Constitution." Just like the Founding Fathers intended - pharma companies who manufacture PD-L1 inhibitors should be able to charge... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

ACGME Survey and implications
Hey all, Long time lurker, first time poster here. This may sound like a wierd question, but I'm in the (rather negative) headspace where I have to ask it. I'm a resident at a small-ish training program in my final year. I am in the unfortunate situation that I have a very negative relationship with a lot of the program leadership. It's at a known malignant and prestitigious insitution, where it seems there is an unspoken understanding that because the place is really desirable, trainees...
