Identification of the Bravais lattice and cell parameters through quantitative model-based transmission electron microscopy and Niggli cell reduction theory: the case of intermetallic Ni5Pb2Te3
This article demonstrates a simple and effective way to accurately determine the Bravais lattice type and cell parameters of an unknown phase by combining quantitative model-based high-resolution (scanning) transmission electron microscopy and Niggli cell reduction theory. This method was applied to the Ni5Pb2Te3 phase in the Ni – Pb – Te ternary system, which exists at high temperatures and forms from the interaction of Ni contacts with PbTe thermoelectric materials. The structure was identified to be triclinic with the space group P1 and cell parameters a = 5.43 ± 0.09   Å , b = 3.93 ± 0.03   Å , c = 3.75   ...

Apathy in patients with Alzheimer's disease is a cost-driving factor
DISCUSSION: Apathy is a significant cost driving factor for total costs in mild to moderate DAT. Effective treatment of apathy might be associated with reduced overall costs in DAT.PMID:36588502 | DOI:10.1002/alz.12915 (Source: The Journal of Alzheimers Association)

Ultrasound-guided retrograde tibial access through chronically occluded tibial arteries: a last resort recanalization technique
CONCLUSION US-guided retrograde access through completely occluded tibial arteries is difficult but feasible. Half of the tibial arteries that could not be recanalized otherwise were converted to successful recanalization by this method.PMID:36550764 | DOI:10.5152/dir.2022.21844 (Source: Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology : The Turkish Society of Radiology)
