I used to think it was a slowly progressive form of frontotemporal dementia, rather than Alzheimer ' s disease, but now I ' m starting to suspect that the frontotemporal dementia and severe personality disorder are indeed complicated by Alzheimer ' s,and that the rate of progression is increasing. I don ' t have anything to add to that personally, the guy has clearly lost his marbles. Regular readers know that I think ambient clinical voice is one of the most exciting things to happen in health IT since the $36 billion in EHR stimulus money. The promise of automatic note generation is so beautiful and would solve so many of the pains associated with EHR software and more generally clinical documentation.
