Influenza vaccine and COVID-19 pandemic:Could this vaccine help limiting the potential adverse consequences from SARS-CoV-2?

COVID-19 pandemic has prompted Scientists to find treatment and vaccine responses to control SARS-CoV-2. There are some hypotheses for benefit of respiratory virus vaccines (like MMR) on COVID-19 pneumonia severity and its morbidity and mortality.Influenza is one of the frequently used respiratory virus vaccines which was covered by one of the Iranian insurance institutes. We have a symmetrical group of participants that have received this vaccine and could be compared with each other. We have compared 3379 persons aged 20-75 years for the effect of influenza vaccine on COVID-19 mortality, ultimately have found that it doesn't have any effect on mortality caused by COVID-19 pneumonia but in people aged more than 65 years who have a history of chronic disease it can decrease the cost of hospitalization.
