[Herpes simplex virus type 2 encephalitis in a healthy adult patient: an unusual case].
We present the case of a 45-year-old male patient diagnosed with HSV-2 encephalitis due to chronic steroid use. In previously healthy adult patients, neurological HSV-2 infection due to chronic steroid use is extremely rare; and the association has not been previously described.
