Pancreaticoduodenectomy in a patient with intestinal malrotation and distal cholangiocarcinoma: a case report and review of the literature

ConclusionsPancreaticoduodenectomy can be safely performed in patients with intestinal malrotation with some modifications of the standard approach. Meticulous dissection after preoperative identification of vascular anomaly and a lateral approach are of great help to reduce morbidity.
