ConclusionsASD children with sleep disorder exhibited declines in the abundance of Faecalibacterium and Agathobacter, decreased levels of 3-hydroxybutyric acid and melatonin, and an increase in serotonin. These changes may aggravate sleep problems and core symptoms in children with ASD.
