American Gastroenterological Association-Boston Scientific Career Development Technology and Innovation Award Eligibility: Young Investigators Amount/year: $90,000 Duration: Two years Deadline: Jan. 31 Payment Date: July 1 This award provides $90,000 per year for two years (total $180,000) to young investigators working toward independent careers in gastroenterology, hepatology, or related areas focused on technology and innovation. The award can be used to acquire skills in novel/advanced biomedical technology (for example, but not limited to, endoscopic, nanotechnology, etc.) as it relates to a specific research plan, acquire skills in outcomes research as it relates to novel/advanced biomedical technology, acquire skills in educational techniques relevant to advanced biomedical technology, develop a unique and novel technology that has applications to clinical care, research and develop a new device that can be used to treat or diagnose a digestive disease, design and test a significant improvement to an existing technology, develop a new diagnostic, or develop a novel research method technology.
