getting into med school with a history of mild depression?

hey, so i'm 16 and currently doing my a levels (well, i'm in the AS year) which are Biology, Chemistry, Psychology and Maths. I've had my heart set on medicine since i was about 12 years old and first realized that i was perhaps clever enough to do so. I got the following grades in my GCSE's Chemistry - A* Biology - A* English language - A* English literature - A* Health and social dual award - A*, A* Music - A Physics - A Maths - A History - A Latin - B Spanish - C (I took it in yr9, two years early and was off for 8 weeks prior to the exam due to recovery after surgery) I think that's them all, but i might have missed out a subject, not sure :s When i was 14 i found out that my dad had terminal prostate cancer, and literally two months after all three of my grandparents died within a month of each other. my mother had been a carer for my grandmother (who suffered from advanced dementia and they lived with us, it was very hard to watch my grandma slip away, we had been very close and when she died it was horrible, it still is now. My step mother had also been very mean to me as a child, she used to emotionally bully me and used to go out of her way to make sure that i knew how insignificant and unwanted i was. she hated me because i wasn't biologically hers and wanted me gone, i knew that right from being little.
