An abundance of seafood consumption studies presents new opportunities to evaluate effects on neurocognitive development
The 2020-2025 Dietary Guidelines for Americans1 (DGA) will address the following two questions: “What is the relationship between seafood consumption during pregnancy and lactation and the neurocognitive development of the infant? What is the relationship between seafood consumption during childhood and adolescence (up to 18 years of age) and neurocognitive development?” [1]
