Genetic mutations at the quinolone resistance-determining region are related to changes in the epidemiological profile of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus isolates
ConclusionsThis study highlighted an increase in number and types of mutations at QRDR of gyrA and parC genes associated with high fluoroquinolones MIC that may be related to changes in the epidemiological profile of MRSA isolates from hospitals in Rio de Janeiro.
