Identifying a marked inflammation mediated cardiac dysfunction during the development of arthritis in collagen-induced arthritis mice.

CONCLUSIONS: Joint inflammation is associated with an obvious cardiac dysfunction and enhanced inflammation infiltration and inflammatory cytokine production in cardiomyocytes and cardiac fibroblasts during CIA development.
