The effectiveness of backward walking as a treatment for people with gait impairments: a systematic review and meta-analysis.

CONCLUSION: The systematic review and meta-analysis suggests that backward walking with conventional physiotherapy treatment is effective and clinically worthwhile in patients with knee osteoarthritis.
