One year mortality in patients with pneumococcal bacteraemic community acquired pneumonia: role of three pneumonia severity scores
Conclusions: 1.During the first year after hospital discharge 8% of our patients died. 2.PSI and SCAP were significantly associated with 1-year mortality after hospital discharge of patients with PBCAP. 3.In our series age and comorbid conditions were the main contributors to long- term mortality.
