Background:Very little research and survey have been performed on the occupational health, hazards, and working condition of urban and rural of workers in Qatar. The aim of the current study is to identify the health status, lifestyle condition, working ‑related problems, and accidentsexperienced by Indian subcontinental migrants (ISCM) in Qatar and their access to health ‑care facilities.Methods:This is a cross ‑sectional study based on a representative sample of 1186 workers and study covering sociodemographic characteristics, medical conditions, and health‑seeking behaviors and personal experience.Results:There were statistically signifcant differences between semi ‑urban and urban migrant workers in terms of educational, occupation, income, working hours, and accommodation type (P

We present an unusual case of a large dumb-bell-shaped cold abscess arising due to infection of the sternum. A 23-year-old immunocompetent Asian woman presented with a gradually progressing painless swelling on anterior chest wall for the last 5  months. She had a large visible swelling on anterior chest wall which was 12.5 cm in diameter, soft, non-tender, temperature was not raised, and fluctuant. We report a case of 16 year old male, who was presented to Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, AMU, Aligarh, India as an emergency case with complaints of severe abdominal pain, difficulty in breathing and bilious vomiting. He was diagnosed as a case of late post traumatic right side diaphragmatic hernia with acute intestinal obstruction. He was successfully treated surgically by laparotomy and the defect was closed with polypropylene suture. The patient was followed for 3 months after operation and there was no complication. Conclusions: No safety concerns were identified from this retrospective EHR review of hospitalized adults who received a milk and molasses enema for constipation relief. The findings indicate that this treatment is safe, although further study examining its efficacy in this population is needed.
