Career Development Award in Liver Transplantation Application Deadline: Thursday, December 4 11:59 PM EST You must be an American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) member to apply for this award. Applicants who are not members are encouraged to apply for AASLD membership no later than September 30, 2014 to ensure your membership is active by the award submission deadline. The Career Development Award in Liver Transplantation is a two-year award of $90,000 ($45,000/year) designed to foster career development for an individual performing clinical and/or translational research in the field of liver transplantation and who has shown commitment to excellence in the field at an early stage of his or her career. The award is intended to support a junior faculty member in the development of liver transplant research so that further funding can be obtained.  ELIGIBILITY In order to be eligible for this award, the applicant must meet the following criteria: The applicant must be a member of AASLD at the time of award application and maintain active membership for the duration of the award period.
