Association of black race with recurrent stroke risk (s4.001)

Conclusion: Recent ischemic stroke patients of Black race almost 60[percnt] more likely to experience a recurrent stroke within 2 years than their White race counterparts, but this risk is likely mediated through several stroke risk factors.
