ConclusionsThere is a high antimicrobial resistance prevalence and increasing antimicrobial resistance trends amongK.  pneumoniae isolates from female outpatients in the United States with presumed uncomplicated urinary tract infection. Awareness ofK. pneumoniae antimicrobial resistance helps to optimize empiric uncomplicated urinary tract infection treatment.
