Racial disparities in selected micronutrient deficiencies after bariatric surgery: A systematic review

CONCLUSIONS: Although the literature on micronutrient outcomes following bariatric surgery according to race/ethnicity is limited, African Americans appear to experience a higher prevalence of vitamin deficiencies and associated conditions.
