Predictors and Outcomes of Statin Utilisation in Patients Undergoing Liver Transplantation
Statins are a mainstay in prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis. However, statins are largely underutilised in liver transplant (LT) candidates due to concerns regarding hepatotoxicity, despite previously demonstrated safety. We sought to assess the predictors and long-term outcomes of statin therapy in LT candidates.
