Comparative Bleeding Risk in Patients with Atrial Fibrillation with Cancer versus Without Cancer from Nationwide Prospective Cohort
This study aimed to clarify the differences in the bleeding risk in patients with AF with cancers and those without cancers during the long-term OAC.The CODE-AF prospective registry enrolled 5,902 consecutive patients treated for AF at 10 tertiary referral centers in Korea. Temporal trends of case-fatality in patients undergoing dual-injection coronary chronic total occlusion recanalization
ConclusionAnnual number of CTO procedures performed in Germany increased from 2009 to 2020 with a concomitant anti-proportional decrease in the case-fatality. Our findings may help to draw more attention to predictors of in-hospital case fatality in patients hospitalized for CTO recanalization.Graphical abstract

Trends in Cardiovascular Mortality in Patients With Atrial Fibrillation and Cancer in the United States (1999 to 2020)
Cancer has been identified as an independent risk factor for atrial fibrillation (AF). Although the development of novel therapeutic agents has led to significant improvement in cancer-related outcomes, there is also a rising concern regarding the long-term impact of treatment-emergent cardiac adverse events such as AF.1 AF portends a poor prognosis in patients with cancer and is also associated with a twofold increase in the risk of stroke as compared with patients with AF without cancer.2 However, population-level data on the impact of AF on overall cardiovascular mortality in patients with cancer remain limited.

Trends in volume-regulated anion channel (VRAC) research: visualization and bibliometric analysis from 2014 to 2022
Conclusion: The aim of this bibliometric analysis is to provide an overall perspective for research on VRAC. VRAC has become a topic of increasing interest, and our analysis shows that it continues to be a prominent area.
