Functional and technical outcomes in acute ischemic stroke patients with hyperdense middle cerebral artery sign treated with endovascular thrombectomy
ConclusionPatients with HMCAS treated with EVT do not have a worse outcome at 3  months compared with no-HMCAS patients. Patients with HMCAS required a greater number of thrombus passes and longer procedure times.

Mechanical Thrombectomy for Pediatric Large Vessel Occlusions
ConclusionIn our meta-analysis, MT demonstrated a  promising safety and efficacy profile for pediatric patients, with consistently high efficacy outcomes and low complication rates. Our results support the utilization of MT in pediatric LVOs; however, prospective studies are still needed to further establish the role of pediatric MT as a first-li ne treatment strategy.

Serum Bilirubin Associated with Stroke Severity and Prognosis: Preliminary Findings on Liver Function after Acute Ischemic Stroke
CONCLUSION: High Tbil and Dbil level within 48 hours of symptom onset could be an independent marker of severity of stroke on admission and discharge for all AIS patients. For patient with mild stroke, elevation of bilirubin after AIS suggests a good prognosis. Prognostic value of the systemic inflammation response index in patients with acute ischemic stroke
ConclusionSIRI is an independent prognostic indicator for AIS. Elevated SIRI is associated with poor functional outcome of AIS. Our findings suggest the usefulness of SIRI to refine the risk stratification of unfavorable prognosis of AIS.

Prognosis associated with asymptomatic intracranial hemorrhage after acute ischemic stroke: a systematic review and meta-analysis
ConclusionsOur results indicate that compared with patients without ICH, those who developed aICH during the acute stage of ischemic stroke had an increasing risk of worse outcome, especially in patients with endovascular therapy.
