Rates and Determinants for the Use of Anticoagulation Treatment before Stroke in Patients with Known Atrial Fibrillation
Conclusions: Only 21.9% of the patients hospitalized for a stroke or TIA with known AF before the event were adequately treated according to recent treatment guidelines. Correlation between Vitamin D, homocysteine and brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels in patients with ischemic stroke
CONCLUSIONS: Vitamin D supplementation was used as a therapeutic agent in patients with acute ischemic stroke that affects homocysteine and BDNF levels.
