Epileptic seizures during Non-Ketotic Hyperglycemia (NKH) in French Guiana: A retrospective study
ConclusionSeizures in NKH are symptomatic of an acute brain lesion or vascular epilepsy more than 1 in 2 times. However, isolated NKH can cause seizures with a suggestive brain MRI.

E-114 Rescue suction mechanical thrombectomy of medium-small vessel occlusion in a pediatric patient presented with acute ischemic stroke
ConclusionEndovascular aspiration mechanical thrombectomy of MSVO is feasible in pediatric patients presenting with AIS and associated with good functional outcome. Additionally, when acute ongoing neurological deficit is present and CTA is inconclusive, a digital subtraction angiography is deemed needed to identify MSVO as the yields of CTA diminishes significantly beyond LVO. Further studies are required.Disclosures R. Hart: None. A. Singh: None. C. Manzanero: None. Y. Lodi: None.

O-003 CLEVER: clinical evaluation of WEB 17 device in intracranial aneurysms. safety results for ruptured and unruptured aneurysm at 30 days
ConclusionThese results show good safety profile at 1 month, with low rate of neurological or neurovascular event with permanent deficit and no mortality at 30 days. These data confirm the safety of WEB use in intracranial aneurysm treatment, unruptured as well as ruptured, and are consistent with the results published up to date.Disclosures L. E-176 Endovascular stent retriever thrombectomy of medium and small vessel occlusion of the middle cerebral artery with acute ischemic stroke: a case series
ConclusionsOur case series demonstrated that SRMT in SVO with disabling NIHSS is feasible and safe if performed carefully. All patient achieved TICI 3 perfusion and first pass effect was better observed in trap technique and use of long solitaire STD. Good function outcomes were achieved in all cases irrespective of the types of SRD used and passes required to achieve TICI 3 perfusion. Further studies are required.Disclosures Y. Lodi: None.

E-182 A multicentric experience for the use of flow diverter in the treatment of anterior communicating artery aneurysms
ConclusionFlow diverters appear to be a safe and effective treatment for anterior communicating artery aneurysms, presenting as an alternative strategy in the armamentarium of interventionalist. Mid-term results were favorable, and complication rates were low. Additional studies with longer follow-up time and independent adjudication are warranted to confirm the safety and effectiveness of the technique.Disclosures V. Benalia: None. G. Cortez: None. N. O-042 Incidence of periprocedural stroke with radial access for diagnostic cerebral angiograms
ConclusionIn our experience, transradial access for diagnostic cerebral angiograms was associated with a low but not neglectable incidence of periprocedural strokes when compared to the traditional femoral approach. Patient vascular anatomy should be evaluated prior to selection of vascular access and patients should be made aware of the possibility of a slightly higher possibility of periprocedural stroke with transradial access.Abstract O-042 Table 1 Patient Age Access Vessels catheterized Catheter used Radial Medication Contrast Fluoro Time Platelet Count INR GFR COVID Status Stroke Symptoms NIHSS Imaging performed 1 5...

High lipoprotein(a) levels predict severity of coronary artery disease in patients hospitalized for acute myocardial infarction. Data from the French RICO survey
Lipoprotein(a) (Lp(a)) is an independent risk factor for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD), including myocardial infarction (MI), ischemic stroke and peripheral artery disease, as well as for calcific aortic valve stenosis1-4. Lp(a) contributes to ASCVD risk via multiple mechanisms broadly classified in three categories, proatherogenic, proinflammatory, and potentially antifibrinolytic2. Epidemiological studies, including meta-analyses5,6, and genetic studies, strongly support a causal association between high levels of Lp(a) and increased risk of ASCVD.

Association between reported work in cold environments and stroke occurrence in the CONSTANCES cohort: a prospective study
Conclusions This study did not reveal a significant excess risk of stroke for occupational exposures to low temperatures. Further studies are needed to better assess the effect of preventive measures and very low temperature on occurrence of cardiovascular diseases.

Association of parental death and illness with offspring suicidal ideation: cross-sectional study in a large cohort of university students
ConclusionsStudents who experienced parental death and common parental illnesses were at risk of reporting suicidal ideation, especially if their family were perceived as an important source of support. As information on parental death or illness can be routinely collected during health visits, attention should be paid to students reporting such experiences.

Cancers, Vol. 14, Pages 3049: Mortality and Major Cardiovascular Events among Patients with Multiple Myeloma: Analysis from a Nationwide French Medical Information Database
Conclusions: From a large nationwide database, we demonstrated that MM patients do not have a higher risk of CV death or even a lower risk of both MI and ischaemic stroke. Conversely, MM patients had a higher risk of both major and intracranial bleedings, highlighting the key issue of thromboprophylaxis in these patients.

Implementation of a CT-derived correction factor to refine the measurement of aortic valve area and stroke volume using Doppler echocardiography improves grading of severity and prediction of prognosis in patients with severe aortic stenosis
Aims: To assess rates of reclassification of severity and associated 5-year survival in patients with severe aortic stenosis (AS) and preserved left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) after application of a CT-derived correction factor (CF) to refine the measurement of aortic valve area (AVA) and stroke volume index (SVi) using Doppler echocardiography. Methods and Results: We enrolled 1450 patients with severe AS and preserved LVEF from a French registry. Multiplication of echocardiographic LV outflow tract diameter by a CT-derived CF of 1.13 to calculate the AVA and SVi using the continuity equation resulted in reclassi...

Task and ecologically based assessment of upper-limb passive function before and after botulinum injections in adults with stroke using the Upper-Limb Performance Assessment: French cross-cultural adaptation and feasibility pilot study
CONCLUSIONS: French use of ULPA is a promising standardized, objective and ecologically based assessment of passive performance in adults with stroke. Preliminary findings after TCCA support feasibility for measurement of individualized goals for UL passive use. Future studies may explore other tasks and environments. Implications for rehabilitationULPA is a performance-based, criterion-referenced and ecological measure of individualized goals based on task-analysis of upper-limb (UL) performance in real-life situations providing an interest for individualized assessment of activity and participation. The measure provides a...
