Pediatric Moyamoya Revascularization Perioperative Care: A Modified Delphi Study
ConclusionsIn the absence of data supporting specific care practices before and after indirect revascularization surgery in children with moyamoya, this Delphi process defined areas of consensus among neurosurgeons, neurologists, and intensivists with moyamoya expertise. Research priorities identified include determining the role of continuous electroencephalography in postoperative moyamoya care, optimal perioperative blood pressure and hemoglobin targets, and the role of supplemental oxygen for treatment of suspected postoperative ischemia.

Management and clinical outcome of stable coronary artery disease in Austria : Results from 5  years of the CLARIFY registry.
CONCLUSION: Characteristics of Austrian outpatients with stable CAD corresponded to those of patients with CAD in other developed countries. Medical treatments following the recommendations of the European guidelines were prescribed in the majority of patients; however, recommended goals of life style interventions including a heart rate less than 60 bpm and general risk factor management were not achieved by a high proportion of patients. Puerperal Extracranial Vertebral Artery Dissection and Nonaneurysmal Subarachnoid Hemorrhage
Previously reported only a few times before, we present a case of extracranial vertebral dissection and spontaneous frontoparietal subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) in the puerperium, discussing possible mechanisms and difficulties in management. A 35-year-old woman presented 10 days postcaesarean section with neck pain and vertigo with normal initial investigations. Following recurrent vertigo, headache, and ataxia, imaging revealed a frontoparietal SAH and vertebral artery dissection. The patient was consequently treated with aspirin, and then following a return of symptoms 3 weeks later, warfarin therapy was continued for 6 months.

A rare cause of abdominal pain managed unconventionally: acute renal infarction caused by atrial fibrillation: a case report
ConclusionsAcute renal infarction from thromboembolism is a rare but serious complication of arterial fibrillation. More efficient and different options for intervention methods will benefit the treatment of this disease. Here, we report a combination therapeutic method that has not been used in acute renal infarction associated with arterial fibrillation, and which restored renal perfusion and prevented long-term kidney injury.
