Stroke Dysbiosis Index (SDI) in Gut Microbiome Are Associated With Brain Injury and Prognosis of Stroke
Conclusions: We developed an index to measure gut microbiota dysbiosis in stroke patients; this index was significantly correlated with patients' outcome and was causally related to outcome in a mouse model of stroke. Canagliflozin Inhibits Human Endothelial Cell Proliferation and Tube Formation
In conclusion, the present study identified canagliflozin as a potent inhibitor of human EC proliferation. The anti-proliferative action of canagliflozin is observed in ECs isolated from both the venous and arterial circulation, and is partly due to the blockade of cyclin A expression. In addition, this study found that canagliflozin inhibits tube formation in cultured ECs and mouse aortic rings. Notably, these actions are specific for canagliflozin and not seen with other SGLT2 inhibitors. Changes in electrolyte concentrations alter the impedance during ischemia-reperfusion injury in rat brain

Stellate ganglion block suppresses hippocampal ferroptosis to attenuate cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury via the Hippo pathway

Neuroprotective Effect of Dexmedetomidine on Cerebral Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury in Rats
CONCLUSION: Dexmedetomidine has a dose-dependent protective effect on cerebral ischemic injury in rats.
