Nuts and seeds consumption and risk of cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes and their risk factors: a systematic review and meta-analysis
CONCLUSION: There is a probable relationship between consumption of nuts/seeds and lower risk of CVD, mostly driven by CHD, possibly in part through effects on blood lipids. Association of the triglyceride-glucose index and vascular target organ damage in a Beijing community-based population
CONCLUSIONS: The TyG index was positively associated with artery stiffness and nephric microvascular damage in a Beijing community-based population in China. CONCLUSIONS: In this large, community-based cohort, higher meat intake associated with incident ASCVD, partly mediated by microbiota-derived metabolites of L-carnitine, abundant in red meat.
