Nationwide outcome analysis of primary carotid endarterectomy in symptomatic patients depending on closure technique and patch type
CONCLUSIONS: There was an increased risk of ipsilateral stroke <30days in patients operated with primary closure compared to eversion-CEA and patch angioplasty. Endovascular therapy in basilar artery occlusion in Sweden 2016 –2019—a nationwide, prospective registry study
ConclusionWe confirm a serious outcome in BAO despite endovascular therapies, and demonstrate important differences relating to occlusion location in baseline characteristics, procedural time, therapeutic measures and outcome. Further in-depth analyses of factors affecting outcome in BAO are warranted.

Factors associated with non-attendance at exercise-based cardiac rehabilitation
ConclusionsA distance greater than 16  km was associated with increased probability of non-attendance at exCR, as were smoking, a higher burden of comorbidities, and male sex. A better understanding of individual and structural factors can support the development of future rehabilitation services.
